Physical Malta

Malta is an island. In fact, Malta consists of several islands: Malta, Comino and Gozo. There are more, but those aren't inhabited.

The landscape is characterised by hills and the highest point on Malta is 253 metres. This is the Ta' Dmejrek and I have no idea how you pronounce that.

There are no permanent lakes or rivers (only when it rains a lot) on Malta but there are bays and lagoons.

Gozo is the second largest island of Malta. It is 67 km² in size and well-known for its beautiful beaches.
